Mid-term evaluation and scientific short course in Zürich coming up!

On April 3 we will have the mid-term evaluation meeting with our Project Officer from the European Commission. The meeting will take place at the University of Zurich and Prof. Karl Gademann has kindly offered to host the meeting. All the 13 PhD students of HotBio and their supervisors will be present and we are looking forward to spend some time together again. The first scientific short course of the project, entitled “The journey from hit discovery to market” will take place on the two following days (April 4 and 5). In this course, arranged by Karl Gademann in collaboration with Marcel Jaspars and Rainer Ebel from the University of Aberdeen, the students will be introduced to the drug discovery process from hit discovery to lead generation through medicinal chemistry, scale-up, ADMET profiling, clinical studies and more.
